Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Creston Public Library is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the Matilda J Gibson Memorial Library. Click here for a brief history of the Friends of the Creston Public Library.
Funds raised by the Friends are used to support numerous library activities (summer reading programs, author visits, programming for teens and adults, community story walks, new technology and services and helping maintain the library facility). Your contribution helps the library provide materials, services, and programming that are beyond its budget as a municipal agency.
Memberships are annual per registration date and are at the following levels:
- Student - $3.00
- Individual - $10.00
- Family - $20.00
- Contributor - $60.00
- Sustaining Member - $100.00
- Patron - $200.00

The Friends of the Library Board meets the third Monday of every month at 1 pm in the Genealogy Room.
